WACOSS has developed a range of topics that are relevant to the Community Sector Funding Reform agenda. These sets of materials and tools explore the challenges and opportunities of the reforms for community sector organisations in Western Australia, and provide information over a broad spectrum, suitable to organisations of all sizes and capacities. We use the terms 'Reforms' and 'Policy' fairly interchangeably so try not to get too caught up in the terminology.
The topics described on this page are designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of all key areas of the reform agenda. They are designed in such a way that you can work through a topic in its entirety, from the introductory documents through to the more complex concepts that may require more specialist attention, such as accounting knowledge. Or alternatively, you can just move around and read the particular pieces that are of interest to you in your particular situation.
The topics endeavour to use understandable language to describe the changes within the Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy. If at any time you feel that you don’t understand something, or would like more information on a particular topic, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you will be moving through the resources sequentially, please click here to learn about the Background of the Policy. Or, use the column on the left hand side to navigate to the topics that are of particular interest to you.
If at any stage you feel like you would like some further information or assistance with any of the topics, please do not hesitate to contact us on 9420 7217
