David is the Executive Director of Service Delivery and Design at Communicare, and oversees the strategic and operational direction of all services within the organisation. In the last two and a half years he has jointly led the organisation through a period of transformational change to prepare the organisation for an ever changing world.
David started his career as a social worker, and brings 20 years’ experience to his role on the WACOSS Board. David spent six years in State Government in the (former) Department of Child Protection, and in a previous tenure at Communicare was instrumental in the development of the Communicare Breathing Space program.
David graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and recently completed the Cranlana Program, which presented the opportunity to explore issues relating to leadership and society at a national level. David is the current Co-Chair of the Western Australian Anti-Poverty Week Facilitation Committee.
