WACOSS Conference

4:00 pm - 1:00 am

A key part of the WACOSS calendar is our yearly conference. We run two different conferences; A WACOSS Conference, which is a large scale, sector-wide event, and the Community Relief and Resilience Conference, which targets the emergency relief sector.

The biannual WACOSS Conference is a unique opportunity to provide professional development and training for the hundreds of volunteers and paid staff working across WA who provide regular support and assistance to those most in need in our community.

Cost of Living Report Launch

4:00 pm - 1:00 am

The report models the income and expenditure of three household types during the financial year in comparison to the two preceding financial years. Doing so allows us to analyse relative changes in living costs and understand their likely impacts on current and future levels of deprivation and need.

Members and member organisations play a key role in deciding the WACOSS board, with individual members being entitled to one vote each, and organisational members being entitled to two. Life members are also entitled to one vote each.
