Hands off our charities campaign update

Hands off our charities
The sector has been actively campaigning across all sides of politics to encourage politicians to oppose the Foreign Donations Bill. The campaign is at a critical point and needs support in the final advocacy push in the weeks ahead. It is a Senate sitting week next week, and the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters is expected to report on the legislation on 28 March 2018. The sector needs to be prepared to come out with a strong campaign response.

There is still an opportunity to join the campaign and voice your concerns with the Bill. Your voice matters. We need to protect our charities' right to advocate.
