If you are yourself, or work with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples, this training will be particularly beneficial to and useful for you. The training is delivered from an Indigenous perspective – written, researched and presented by Indigenous professionals. Delivered by The Seedling Group, this two-day workshop explains the link between trauma and the developing brain as well as the broader cognitive and social impacts. On day two the focus is on the importance of safety and social and emotional wellbeing. Looking at the neurological biology of self-care in relation to sustainable practice. At the end of the training, participants will be equipped to put culturally-safe and trauma-informed practices into action in their community or workplaces.
