The Western Australian Council of Social Service is pleased to welcome you to the launch of the State Budget Submission.

Each year, we provide the State Government with a State Budget Submission which reflects the sector’s priorities for expenditure in the following State Budget. The Submission is a culmination of sector-wide consultation and conversations, forming a significant part of our policy and advocacy work, and influencing funding decisions for community service organisations across Western Australia. This year WACOSS staff held 14 separate consultations across the state, gathering regional, remote and metro insights from frontline service providers.

Following the State Budget Submission launch, members are invited to stay for the 2024 Annual General Meeting.

 

The AGM is a great opportunity for members to engage with and be involved in the election of Board Members, be involved in welcoming the newly appointed Board Members, and to reflect our significant work within the community services sector for that year.
